Edinburgh resident here, just a fact not that it makes my opinion more valid. Really feel this will not stick and is just the councillors making statements to get us on side. It should not be down to city councils to even attempt to intervene on this. The industry should make smaller cars.
There is also an obvious joke here for those defending SUVs in Edinburgh, the roads are so filled with pot holes, its like driving on a farm track. A pot hole literally snapped the axle on my (albeit very old) bike once.
I'm guessing the joke here is that due to iPhones having text and icons in the same places on many screens this leads to more cases of Screen Burn-in. The image shows an iPhone displaying a white image that then highlights this fault with the phone and the title makes a joke comparing these always visible marks on the screen to the 'always-on' feature where the screen displays information even when the screen is 'off'.
I think the reason Gnome is good is the same thing that makes them insufferable. They believe there is a right way to do things, sometimes those are things you like, sometimes they aren't.
I'm interested in a framework laptop for the environmental perspective, but I also think a pre-owned high end device would be faster and with smaller impact.
Was talking about this with a friend last night who struggled through their whole degree thinking they were being academically challenged when really they should have been asking for support with their mental health. We never tell students how hard it should be to learn the next thing and when something has actually gone wrong.

I can't find LineageOS development progress, but Murena look like they will be selling the fp5 with e/os which is customised LineageOS, so its probably making progress.
These things crave attention. It will be loving getting this social media clout. I heard the most tortuous thing you can do to these monsters is put it outside and forget about it. They HATE the silent treatment.
I don't know how you keep yours so clean, we use ours for everything so they are always in and out the oven. Ours are all covered in hard to remove black marks.
I've not managed to figure out note sharing with Nextcloud Notes, and it seemed you needed to understand Markdown to get the best of it last time I used it.
I need to use Keep to share simple synced notes with my partner. I've not yet been able to find an app with feature parity. Does anyone know a good app for sharing lists?
Just in case you did, don't get started with 'Vespucci' it's aiming to be a tool for people already deep into OpenStreetMap. I'm three years in and it baffles me frequently. StreetComplete is amazing and Every Door and OSM Go! Are very usable. If you're on iOS, this whole post is irrelevant. I've not used those apps.
