  • Is it illegal to have these or just distribution is illegal? I'm worried about the implications of you downloading but it isn't like anyone will care.

As for how they got there, perhaps via scan-to-email from the Mar-a-Lago copy- and bathroom.

  • Did Subway fund Jared's legal defenses and shuffle him, still employed, from location to location to cover up rapes (without doing anything preventing him from finding new victims through their stores, of course)?

  • If they gain decent market share, they will be bought by one of the two or three companies that owns the entirety of that manufacturing category. If they don't, the incumbents will lower prices until the new thing is out of business. In either case, the prices bounce back, and even increase because of "inflation."

  • "How about subscribing to your own computer? Not now? Ok, see you in a bit." Even the Windows fans are full of resentment that they have to know which magic numbers to type under which registry entries to actually disable the constant ad screens. And then Windows restores the nag on updates.

  • What ramifications? Contempt of court, go to jail. They can appeal the contempt charges as they wish, how does that make any difference to the ongoing case? Dudes get fined or jailed on contempt for far less than this.

  • Yes, but in the context of whether or not to be scumbags about the gas pump they only care about the aggregate behavior. "I wish they would realize I make a mental note to never buy," they do, tho. They don't care because it convinces two or more other people to buy. Ads will continue getting worse because none of us will do collective action about it.

  • Biden won't do it because Dems are still living in a fantasy world where they can compromise with Repubs and not get stabbed in the back.

If he does do it then SCOTUS will suddenly have original interpretation which makes it unconstitutional when a Dem does it, so IDK, maybe I agree that he might as well not stoop the that level.
