most servers are just 24h ctf or gimmicky maps with rtd, if you want to play the other modes like payload in a vanilla enviroment, casual is the only major provider of that.
Don't forget Europe. Here, the far right is also racially motivated. My country's (Portugal) far right party shot up in votes in the last election and has repeatedly villanized roma people.

Depends, if you want to play online, tough luck. Most anticheats refuse to work with Linux, the smaller games probably work fine, but if it's somewhat mainstream (fortnite, valorant, cod, rainbow six, etc) it probably won't work. ProtonDB has a great list.
That's because it's built off of source and uses valve assets. A clone in godot would be in the clear.
