Disagree, the technology is improving and the shapes of the phone are becoming more usable.

Anecdotally, i know a good amount of people who switched/want to switch off iphone to android specifically for folding phones. The form factor of the zflip/razr is a lot more usable for people who have small pockets or people who just think it's plain cool.

The "damage crease" isnt a huge deal, and most people upgrade after 3ish years anyway so as long as it can make it that far it won't matter to them.

Idk why you're being downvoted, its true. Folding screen technology has been pretty much the only major innovation in the phone space for a while now.

Not necessarily switching chargers, you can have a charger that lives by your bed thats slow and a fast one that you keep maybe by the couch. Then you wouldn't need to fiddle with settings every night

For when you have a low battery but are going out in less than an hour. You can always use a lower wattage charger for overnight.

I hope it wasn't any other communities other than lemmyshitpost, but I'm probably going to venture on better safe than sorry for this one.

This is so fucked, but this brings up a question -- is this something to be concerned about for instances federated with lemmy.world? As in, if something like this is uploaded to a community that the instance federates with, their instance will now have a copy as well?

Less content, and the sorting seems to favor posts that are getting comments rather than new and rising posts. So you frequently have posts over a day old that stay at the top slots of your feed
