It's not overblown, they are modifying people's systems without their knowledge or consent, a warrant to do so should never have been granted. Whether their intent was good or not is irrelevant.

This smells of a case where they are looking to broaden their reach through precedence. They now can modify peoples systems if a judge feels it's "good" to do so.

This is how you wash federal money and turn it into campaign donations. There is no way our politicians will turn off that spigot.

Things have cost, the expensive community college, ~5k for a full year, has to pay their teachers. There's not not some huge profit grab.

You choosing to forgo medical care, or higher learning is your choice, you still have access to it. You may be one of the bottom 1%, where being a barely literate peasant is an improvement on your life.

Do you have access to clinics or family medicine?

Do you have access to community colleges and trade schools?

At the time chrome was slightly faster and more efficient... Chrome actually forced Firefox to modernize its browser to stay competitive.

This notion that medevil peasants worked less and were somehow better off is ridiculous. I'd gladly work an extra 20 hours a week for indoor plumbing, electricity, cars, cell phones, modern medical care, education, lack of dragons,...

The FIA does not want active aero, this is another rule in a long line of rules to prevent that. IMO now that there are cost caps in place they should get rid of most of these types of rules put in place to control spending.

In fact any comparisons I've found show Tesla's autopilot performing better than humans. One crash 4.41 million miles driven on autopilot in a tesla vs one crash for every 1.2 million miles in a tesla without autopilot, NHTSA’s most recent data shows that in the United States there is an automobile crash every 484,000 miles.

You can say the exact same thing for people.

Self driving is not a defined standard, it is a buzz word like increase your vitality. The SAE standards for autonomous vehicles do not have a self driving category

Forcing a person not to wear a type of clothing is just as bad forcing them to wear it. The reasons for either are not important.
