  • It agitates me to no end why every bread product is loaded with sugar. I can tell immediately when someone uses pillsbury rolls, biscuts, crescent rolls. Even worse Hawaiian rolls which should have a little sweetness are stuffed with sugar to be sweater than everything else it's just about pastry levels of sugar.

  • Or if your pulling 4 byte data from an AtoD converter and it's ordered 2, 3, 0, 1 for a fixed point value that you need to convert to a standard float at an extremely high rate or else the ring buffer will fill and you'll start losing data.

That code review was a good time.

  • I started on CentOS and don't remember any issues but that was a long time ago. I flirted with Suse, Ubuntu, and Arch when RH started being a super dick. I finally settled on Rocky, rpm is the devil I know.

  • China is still pretty far behind on all sorts of tech.

Stealth: China just figured out how to hide the exhaust inside the airframe, the US was doing that in the 70s. They don't have stealth missles the US has thousands.

Missles: China has missles fueled with water, liquid fuel are less stealthy than solid. China is much closer here than most areas.

Logistics: US cargo planes can cary more farther. Russia has shown what bag logistics can do.

Boats: while China has more boats they are less capable. China has two aircraft carriers with one on the way US has 11 with 5 on the way.

Asymmetric warfare: US has demonstrated capability to handle drones and cruze missiles in a real world scenario, no one else has.

  • I didn't leave the other variables out. A human in the loop doesn't change grind size or consistency. A human in the loop doesn't change water quality, or temperature. A human in the loop won't change bean quality.

Tamp pressure is more consistent with automated machines vs humans. It is much easier to dial in a shot for particular beans/roast, you can literally dial it in, that's why coffee shops use automatic machines. Those machines are not the cheap ones they can cost up to $10k. Over half the coffee shops in my area use automatic machines.
