Youtube will add things here and there to find you something new to binge on to stay on their platform. If you watch something a little, you'll be shown a couple similar videos. But if you watch a lot of that first video, you'll be bombarded with similar content like you were.

It's made me have to watch in incognito first, just so it doesn't screw up my Recommended.

I don't really mind if people don't like me though I do kind of find it interesting as I keep to myself and not cause conflict with others.

I am completely thrown if someone takes interest in me though. It's like, why? Does your lack of information about me make me mysterious or something? Because what you see here is what I am.

Same thing in distribution. They promote "safety, safety, safety," but as soon as productivity dips, "you guys aren't hitting your numbers, you need to do better."

If the company is still doing that when you need your next item, great. But if there is something better with a competitor and it's not difficult to replace, it's time to move on.

It's like I just watched 50 minutes of this hour video, took it out of my Watch Later and enjoyed it enough to actually give it a Like, why the hell would you recommend it to me again.

Not a chance in hell. I'm 6'1 or so at 250 lbs. I do carry my weight well, but he looks substantially bigger than me. If he is truly 6'3, I'm guessing he's pushing about 280.

It's going to take a seemless to register platform that offers comparable features to Twitter and then massive accounts switching over and actually leaving Twitter behind.

Right now Threads seems to be the closest, but they lack the feature set Twitter has like search and hashtags so the big accounts only tried it out before running back to what worked for them. Not to mention they don't have a usable web page for the platform either which alienates a lot of desktop users.

If Threads adds those things in, I fully believe more of the bigger accounts will transition over with their following and it'll snowball to become a massive platform. Whether it stays a good site remains to be seen, it is Meta after all.

You'd be surprised, a lot of democrats (so called anyway) were pissed off about wearing them too. Especially in the inner city.

Not going to lie, that's pretty disturbing. This search engine is used by millions (maybe billions?) and they're providing false information to all those people. That's scary.

TikTok is definitely hitting for certain demographics, but YouTube is still king in the long form department and I don't see that changing unless they completely alienate their watchers and creators or someone comes along and offers significantly more money (to creators).

Thanks for that. Before I go ahead with it, just wondering if there will be a Dev version similar to the way you did it with Sync for Reddit that has beta updates baked in or will this be that version.

The ads through me for a sec, but then I realized this wasn't the Dev or Pro version.

I'll end up subscribing at some point, but I do wish there was a one time option like last time. Not really interested in the cloud backups and all that, just the ad free experience.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Looks like there wil be a one time option at some point in addition to a version with no ads. Looking forward to it.
