  • Have also been a fan since '92! Fat Mike, and I know it wasn't just him, but he kinda went off the rails there for a bit. For a while.. it got me down..I guess it was a ploy to stay a little relevant, or to get out of a business deal.

  • How quickly the second half of my life has gone..i guess it has been filled with more variety and more going on. Could be the monotony of it all too that it all blends in. It's bonkers how quick things pass. I mean, COVID started 4 years ago..where has that gone! I have a 15yo son! l still feel like I'm 21 ..but with less-than-ideal moving body parts. My knees, no pain, just don't move like they used to. I wish I could do half the things i see some 50 year olds doing in the movies..jumping over fences like I used to as a teen..and and and

  • I manage my business units data and support the team to use it and the applications associated with the data.. best thing is the day is variety..no two days are usually the same. The worst thing is the people..I don't know how they function sometimes. And the team's managers are so hands off when training and coaching their team.

  • Well, if you're not there to not not fuck spiders, then you're there to fuck spiders. Simple, really

    • Face like a dropped pie/chewed mintie/hat full of arseholes (un-attractive)
    • Going off like prawns in the sun/frog in a sock (really good time or a raving loony)
    • mad as a cut snake (Karen)
    • I could eat the arse out of a dead rhino/dingo (really hungry)
  • Carlin: take your average person... half the world is dumber than that. (Or something to that effect)

do what's right for you, it might hurt in the short term, but it will be worth it in the long term (this goes for most things...FOMO, parties, relations, job offers, school offers)

Don't smoke. my father is dying...it's not cool.

Eat right, exercise regularly. It takes time, your fitness won't appear overnight (it takes months).

Brush your teeth and more importantly, floss/use picksters. Don't eat sweet things 2 hours before bed.

Everyone's different (so take what I say with a pinch of salt, the above might not be for you)

  • Coffee ,water, piece of fruit, a nut bar or loose nuts/berries mix. Meat and two veg in some sort of combo for dins

  • I have 2 kitties and this happened all the time. I had to introduce a third litter box for it to stop happening. And as others have said, clean them out every day. #poofreefloor

  • I'm not agym.go-er or a trainer.. aerobic workouts. I lost 30kg over 12months just by walking 10000 purposeful steps a day and doing 2 rounds of interval training (HIIT) a night. Once my fitness came back/got some fitness, I started introducing weights... and more importantly, I watched what I ate. Specifically, i stopped all sometimes foods and stopped eating bread. This worked for me. But you can't go from little to no exercise tomall the exercise. Work up to it

  • I live in major city and drove to work nearly every day..but I reckon it was never more than 25mins to work.. 5 - 25km a day

  • I know I'll get shit..I bought a 2004 Subaru Impreza new..and ran it for 15 I years..it never missed a beat. I put 110 thousand kilometres on it in that time. I loved driving it every time. Had it serviced when it needed. I sold it because I pivoted around a cement pole in a parking lot. Bit of damage to a door. Moved onto a WRX after that.. again, it has never missed a beat. No issues whatsoever.

  • I dunno...the idea of nothing existed and then a big bang happened and all this shit coalesced and formed and it's been here so long it's all too far away. .. I mean, WTF? Explain that? That leads to all sorts of potential.. the dinosaurs were around for tens of millions of years. TENS!! OF MILLIONS!! I guess, human ancestors were here 6million years ago too.far out, nothing then something. Science says a big bang.. like a pop test? Anyways, I think theres no room for ghosts and shit when there's all the unexplored

  • I can't think of any more examples, but bands that rework an old popular song and keep parts of the melody and make a new one. Both examples I know of are teen spirit/rape me by Nirvana.. and linoleum/linewleum by nofx and are both, imo, reflections of what gained them a larger following. Can you name some more?

  • My daughter and her netball team are having a session at flip out. It's 4pm and I want to go home. I have things to do. We've been out since 8am.

  • First flight ever was Qantas business class from Sydney to London. I was 12
