  • Why are you continuing to lie? I never said you can connect directly to it. The parent comment said

“You can use any USB battery with it, just plug it into the battery pack.”

Which is absolutely true. You claimed it was false. I corrected you. I’ve made no other claims about wanting a Vision Pro, loving Apple, or anything else that you are insinuating. Just take the L dude.

I could not find any resources that charging a the Vision Pro battery from an external battery is a safety hazard. It’s using USB spec for power delivery, as long as it receives the correct voltage and current it wouldn’t care what is on the other end.

Sure, some cheap battery banks are not designed to be charged and discharged at the same time, but this is clearly not the case here.

  • You read something that was true, falsely claimed it was incorrect, a different person corrected you, and rather than checking to see if you were right, which would be a simple google search, you doubled down that something is not possible. And now that you realize you’re wrong you move the goalposts and say it’s useless either way. It’s exhausting dealing with people like you.

  • Honestly, a preview for another show on the same service doesn’t bother me AS LONG AS it is skippable. I’ve never used paramount so I’m not sure if that’s the case.

If I’m being honest when I was a kid part of the fun of going to the movies was the previews before, finding out about upcoming movies and what not.

I do agree that you shouldn’t see the same preview every episode cause that’s super annoying. But I’d be totally fine with one per session or something. Again, as long as it’s skippable right from the start.

  • The thing you have to factor in is they can’t make very many of them due to technical limitations. I agree $2k would be a good price but if they will sell as many as they could possibly make at $3.5k they aren’t going to sell for less. Gotta recoup all that R&D cost somehow.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a better, more refined headset from Apple for under $2k in the next few years. I’m sure they know $3500 is out of reach for the vast majority of consumers.

  • To me, no I would never pay $3500 for a headset. But I can also appreciate the insane amount of tech that’s included in it. Historically the 3rd or 4th gen of a new apple product is where they really hit their stride. And hopefully in this case come down in price.

As for the battery I personally don’t think that would be much of an issue since when I think about my main use case for it I’d be sitting on the couch and it would just be plugged into the wall. I couldn’t find the length of included usb-c cable online but I have a few 2 meter ones already that I would use.

On flights I can see it being frustrating for sure.

  • All I can say is I’m glad I haven’t had the same experience. Not huge into rap or hip-hop and have never had them come up. It seems pretty good at recommending new songs to me. Not sure if it uses my current library or my searches but I’ve been happy with it.
