Many things share some traits of characteristics and, given langage limitations may be compared to one another, especially from poetical perspective, but it doesn't make them one and the same.
Can't tell precisely since there are conditions, that might conserve a piece of technology to the point that it's still going to be recovered and recognized as OOPART.
I guess that a million years or further is relatively safe bet, but even that isn't granted.
So far, I get the impression that it's a phiosophical treatise discussing the suffering in life and the inevitability of it. I'm not sure when I'm going to end, because I don't approach philosophical texts sober and my stash of beer has ended abruptly.
The Way it went down volume 2
An anthology of stories relevanat to Delta Green role-playing game. It's one of those rare cases when a RPG-inspired material doesn't suck. The stories are usually very short, horror, borderline Lovecraftian. Some are quite disturbing to read.
I woke up with my head nearing an explosion, but the sheer force of my will was enough to stop the countdown, what is a testimony to my unbreakable character. Yay me!
On my way to work I made a new friend - a very energetic gentleman, who certainly didn't want to ran me over with his car. We exchanged pleasentries, and he tried to make me laugh by showing his funny grimaces while passing by. It was fun!
At work I was greeted with what we call in IT "a fire". One of our oldest machines broke, and since there's a tiny, ancient computer hidden inside, it became my task to fix it. Now, those were very refreshing hours, when our whole corpo freezed because one tiny, ancient computer refused to work.
I can't wait to see what the upcoming hours will bring! đ€
I absolutely am. You're simply overthinking it - the scenario I provided makes plaintext *.txt perfect.
Sure, we can spend the rest of the day inventing scenarios, where Mr. NOTECH will be manipulated remotely by aliens, and what then, but that's an exercise in creativity, not a situation that needs to be taken into account.
I find this train of thoughts void of a very important variable: there's no single type of homework and while some might be definitely positive for health, both mental and physical, others are the opposite of that.
For example, gardening vs painting walls with a toxic fungicidal paint. Housework? Housework!
It began quite bad, since I had to wake up and it turned out I'm still alive and in a condition that doesn't prevent me from going to work.
It's getting better, though. My initial zombie state of existence has evolved into "brain tries to escape via my ears". Which is terrific, since it will allow me to get through another a few hours of work.
The weather is also getting better, I'm not sure when was the last time I've seen such massive dark clouds suggesting heavy rains.
If the purpose of the software is to work in closed, offline environment with Mr. NOTECH operating it via "line 5: rotations per minute; line 6: temperature in Fahrenheit" commands, then trust me, it's going to get the job done.
No one is responsible for the proper balance in your life but you. Not your boss, not your spouse, not your children, not your friends. Only you.
And it's truth. You can work 5 jobs, care about everything and everyone, then get a stroke and die. And the world won't end because of that. So you absolutely have to find the space and time for some improvement. No "buts".
Better a tiny, small community that abides to local codex of behavior, than a flock of lawless savages, who expect every place to cater to their personal needs & tastes.
Don't like the rules, vote to change, instead of bending them.
Hiring Linux professionals would require competent IT management. Most corporations donât have that.
And again: you're allowing for your emotions to dictate your opinion. This is wrong approach and indeed one of main reasons Linux/FOSS is hard to sell on. After all, would you really want to work with, and give your money to people who think yourself to be incompetent in spite of knowing you? đ
YES.
Can't wait to play this game, even if it means mere 20 minutes before going to sleep...
