My personal pick is Nobara (which is fedora but with easy codecs and driver install script).
But anything Ubuntu or Fedora bases is going to work great
(From what I remember Nobara and POP_OS! Have great Nvidia support out of the box)
An old thinkpad (or new). Looking for laptops made with linux (Tuxedo, system76). Or maybe a framework. As far as I know any laptop with a good screen, RAM, and storage. And at least for me a lackibg I/O (ethernet, headphone jack, mutliple USBs) is a dealbreaker
Yes but it makes economic sense only on the routes with top demand that pass through the center or CBDs or other high traffic areas
