  • I'd love to see y'all's Lichess game history 🀣

  • Yeah, email is one of those things that's better left to be someone else's headache. DO and Vultr are great choices.

  • I think that depends on the power supply?

  • Same, nice to see it get some love. I've tried a whole bunch of them, Wez is also a super nice guy and very active on GitHub.

  • I watched it BECAUSE of the English title! Also Yuru Camp is the better title... YMMV?

  • You can message me on Matrix, it's in my bio.

  • We've looked into worker functions before for other things like routing on the edge (neat stuff). We're all DevOps folks, and love to get feedback from the community ❀️

The issue is even folks linking to images unfortunately. Yeah, it's mostly CSAM related, but also prevents other types of abuse as well.

I appreciate everyone being understanding, all of us try hard to keep everyone on LW (and folks we federate with) safe.

  • It'll come up in a curl or httpie request. All our WAF errors have meaningful returns, I make sure of it ❀️

  • We did include a meaningful response body to help.

  • I'm not sure why you're getting down voted, you're right. I'm not sure if anyone would run Proxmox for their enterprise hypervisor? I mean HyperV is okay. Slim pickings for big orgs. I know there's Nutanix, but most folks are moving to the big three for VMs and hosting.

  • It's really sad, they used to be amazing and the goto for running Linux VMs on back in the day. Still haven't seen anyone do hardware pass through as well.

  • I use Obsidian alot, they are very different in how they work as far as I can tell. Obsidian is more like a pure notebook with a HUGE amount of useful plugins. I use the KanBan and OCR functions alot with their Google-esq search.

  • If I had a nickel for everytime I saw a old copy of VMware running in prod, I'd have like $20 πŸ˜…πŸ€£

  • Slack is great and free. Plus they actually care about your privacy and data. They just have a work vibe to them, which I don't mind. Plus the tool integration is amazing.

  • Space Trucker Simulator ❀️

  • Slack is really nice and is at least usable for large projects and teams.

  • There are some folks that know both how to run a business well and are passionate about the technology, but they are rare unfortunately. More common in smaller organizations at least.

  • I use both and have my desktop setup to look like my work Mac. It's about the same TBH. Gaming is much better on Linux tho. But more biz apps 'just work' on OSX.
