  • If the no ads and ads free version contains adds then pirating is also not immoral anymore.

  • I'm allergic to advertisement, I'd rather not watch a video at all than watching the ads in it. SponsorBlock for me is just an automation of what I would do anyway pressing forward 5-7 times to jump over this section. I will not buy this stuff anyway it's just a waste of my time. I go even so far that I don't mind paying for YouTube Premium because this removes the advertisement, but there is no way to pay for skipping sponsors automatically other than SponsorBlock.

  • Please for the love of God, use uBlock origin and SponsorBlock to skip all of this automatically.

  • Sounds like google search to me.

  • I know we like to shit on Trump for his dumb ideas, but why is this idea bad? I would remove the marriage rates, but prioritizing communities with many children, especially families with young children seems to me like a sane idea, this is where help is needed the most and where you make the most impact for the future generations or am I missing something?

  • I just start writing in the different language and the suggestions + autocorrect switch for me. All the languages (other than Korean) use the same keyboard layout and for the umlauts I need to hold the aoeu shortly to get the right umlaut, or I just rely on the autocorrect.

  • Thanks for the additional information, that helped me to decide to get the 3060 12G instead of the 4060 8G. They have almost the same price but from what I gather when it comes to my use cases the 3060 12G seems to fit better even though it is a generation older. The memory bus is wider and it has more VRAM. Both video editing and the smaller LLMs should be working well enough.

  • Someone called it just yesterday.

  • Exactly, I'm in the same situation now and the 8GB in those cheaper cards don't even let you run a 13B model. I'm trying to research if I can run a 13B one on a 3060 with 12 GB.

  • That is a good question actually. I was looking into buying a graphics card to run som llms but it seems you need a huge amount of VRAM which makes the cards cost a huge amount of money.

I read you can buy several cheaper ones and connect them so the VRAM is enough, but that was on one computer.

It would be cool if several people could run their GPUs together similar to SETI@home to do GPU sharing. Even better if it's done federated.

  • Straight out of Xi's playbook. Purge everyone who is not a yes man.

  • This is what Musk came to America for, the land of the free, free of laws, free of oversight, free to do terrible things without reprecutions.

  • In Germany back then we called it Gleichschaltung, what I assume is just the beginning in this case.
