  • As far as I know yes, I watched some videos where people were talking about the newest MW version and they showed that map, that's how I remembered :D

  • The very fast map in Call of Duty.

  • The main thing of the article is:

None of the targets of the campaign are government entities

  • You could organize it on different virtual desktops.

  • Yeah, no migration available, which is a potty but that would be quite difficult to do it right.

  • I'm doing it and I like it. But I switched to PieFed which is easier to maintain.

  • China also has good opportunities, the only problem is that China already is where the US is going, so it might not be so attractive.

  • I think video is very unnecessary, audio is the most important and there are great ones which don't use the internet or even WiFi but a different radio signal like https://a.co/d/3YAxSzw

If she really can't do it without video then I'd buy a ubiquity one because they work without internet connection if you set them up like that. Then only you can access it. But they are quite expensive especially the ones with 2 way audio.

  • Hm, that makes me think I should really go ahead and set up my own git-frontend, or at least check out all my git repos.

  • You're doing it the wrong way. What you should do is to identify the specific things you think are holding Lemmy back and discuss it in the open. That can lead to:

    1. Other people realize it too and start thinking how to fix it
    2. You realize your assumptions were wrong

If you just post here ' Lemmy is shit and will never be good' then that's not very productive even if we wanted to help you find a now home outside of Lemmy, we have no idea what you're looking for so we can not even give you good advise.

  • I'm a fan of local instances, like at least for a country and language.

  • I think the greatest strength is that it is so compatible with other Threadyverse software like PieFed and Mbin. This brings a lot of freedom to the users.

  • There is a easy solution to it. Use a free and open source podcast client like AntennaPod.

This has the added benefit that you don't contribute to the destruction of podcasts by Spotify which take podcasts which are available for everyone and make them Spotify only.

  • When I was in Korea for the first time, in our early 30's, we went to the fish market and a older lady who sold weird sea creatures sold us some of them and at the end she took one of those penis fish and gently pressed on it so it would squirt out some water from the front and then she laughed her ass of seeing us so uncomfortable :D

  • I mean do it, but don't believe that they do anything other with your data as flagging it as that it should show up for you as deleted while it's still unaltered in the database.

  • That is a very difficult question, but some smaller things, I'll be able to meet my parents and siblings, while I couldn't last year, even if it's only for one week.

  • I don't know what it is, I went to the repo on github to read the readme, I still have no idea what it is. There is not a single sentence which explains what this is.

At the top it says it's something for Lemmy, at least I know what Lemmy is, but most people don't. So it might be a plugin, a theme, a frontend, an app, who knows.

Later it mentions apk, so perhaps it's a android app, for phone or some car or other embedded devices?
