Polish, German and Swedish. Now I'm learning Korean, not because I want to but because I moved to Korea and without it it's difficult to do anything.

That's also why I had to learn the other languages other than English, because I moved to those countries.

Didn't really hurt but more like sting. I published a popular video and someone wrote they needed to switch from their usual 2x speed watching videos to 1x because of my accent.

I get it, English is my 4th language so it won't be very smooth. But I've been using it for 99℅ of my conversations since I moved to Korea 3 years ago and I feel I'm better in it than almost everyone I interact with here.

I think in the long run that's good, concentrating only in big cities is really bad for a country, just look at South Korea, everybody has to live in Seoul, there is practically no other way. But yeah it sucks in the beginning because you loose a lot first.

Why is it a problem that a politician changes their mind on some topic after getting more information about it?

I did for many years. But then I moved to Korea and they don't allow family plans and paying 4 individual ones is just not in our budget. Then probably just no YouTube for me.

I thought we have quite a diversity here with extreme right wing on hexbear, extreme left wing on lemmygrad, center with lemmy.world, (clasic) liberalism on dbzer0, and everything between like blahaj, beehaw, redhat, slrpnk, etc.

Damn, I got my setup so perfect on the TV with SmartTube. But I will not be able to tolerate ads. Then I'd rather only watch on Firefox with uBlock on my laptop.

I really dislike readme's which don't explain what the Repo's code is about at all. Is it a video editor? Some web library? I know it works on Windows, Mac and Linux but I need to google what it does.

It has limitations, sure, but I got blocked and was in ironically interested. The topic has been explained well on a high level.

Oh how cool, I didn't realize that Florent Revest is still keeping his AsteroidOS alive, great to see! I've worked with him a couple of years ago and he implemented over the air updates in our custom Linux distribution. I see AsteroidOS is still build with Yocto, cool stuff and great guy!
