I download ebooks that I already own the physical copy of. I pay for 4 (yes 4) streaming services. if a movie i want isnt on any of them, high seas. a few years ago things were better and i almost never had that situation come up, now it seems its every other movie either isnt on anything or on some niche service
colour probably matters too. you could probably get away with something in mushroom bags (brown paper bag) but of course only worth it for things worth more than mushrooms
its frustrating working for a company that promotes itself as progressive and has net zero targets well beyond what is legislated, but they also force an arbitrary number of office days for "reasons"
the fuckers have cameras and "AI" detection here, if it looks and sees something it doesn't think is a banana the whole thing stops and signals a staff over. doing groceries is seriously more fucked than going through airport security now.
huh. every time i try to go to my profile i just see that 'this account has been suspended' message covering the whole screen, i cant even look at my comments
edit: i checked i can edit a comment, if i can find it (eg by going to my 'replies', checking context and i can go ahead and edit my comment). but no way to just go to all comments and look for something specific, without manually finding threads through google or something
me, although my hand was slightly forced with a permaban at the same time. I don't regret it at all, although I do miss some of the niche communities that aren't really taking off here (yet)
