  • I've had the ROG 2, and now the ROG 6. Up there as my favorite phones ever. Even if you aren't a phone gamer, it's great for Android Phone power users too.

Surprisingly, though I didn't originally buy with it in mind, the second side USB-C port quickly became one of my favorite features.

  • After cracking open my own Deck, replacing the SSD or Thumb sticks is dirt simple. There are even drop in Hall effect sticks you can get. The only real trouble is if you need to replace the battery. The screen and battery are definitely the hardest things to replace in the Steam Deck.

PS: REMOVE THE MICROSD FIRST! I've seen people forget their card is in there and literally snap it in half when opening up their Steam Deck.

  • Yeah, a lot of similar functionality which is what I was mainly looking for. Especially the IMDB search. Not as much curation, but enough tags and details on most things so you can at least sift past the junk.

  • Flatpak includes all the libraries Steam, proton, and games need to run, sandboxed and without having to mess with the ones installed more generally on your system. Can help prevent headaches and compatibility issues.

  • I've loved their ROG Phones. I had their ROG 2, and now their ROG 6. Complete overkill for most people, but I'm definitely an Android "Power User".

Their Zenfones have also gotten a good reputation as decent mid-range devices that kick some recent trends, like keeping the phones on the smaller side and keeping the headphone jack.

  • As I said, wack-a-mole. You ban a site, different one pops up, people share links in DMs and other platforms. Sharing that stuff isn't banned in other countries, so they can't actually take down anything. Good luck stopping that when you can't even properly get sites blocked at the DNS/ISP level.

And this doesn't even get into VPNs and proxies.

  • The stickers are that folded white slip behind the disc in the picture. I forgot to take a picture of them, but they don't look great since they were transparent and the adhesive has degraded into a patchy yellow/orange mess. A bit of a shame, but time marches on.
