The reality is that every American has experienced this for their entire lives at this point. The actual popular opinion is "I don't actually care because every public bathroom I have been in since the 40s is like this."
This reminds me of the brief stint I had as a Java web developer in the early 2000s. My boss, the VP of the company, told me to throw together an e-commerce site on my last day that everyone knew about. I stared blankly at him for a few seconds then shrugged and turned back around to the IRC chat I had open via SSH.
OK. This needs to be said. Not every 2A adherant is a magat or a republican. There are many of us actual leftists that are armed and getting ready to actually fight this shit. The NRA != every armed American, and the time for leftists failing to be armed is long gone. Dems have been fighting against an actual armed left for decades because they love their capitalism. It is time to mobilize for real.
This happened to me. I did a couple years of Java web dev work right out of high school from 2001 to 2003. I used to love programming, but doing it full time completely ruined it for me. After all this time, I still haven't even done more than start and immediately delete projects.
I remember being on one of those. They were fairly common in the 80s. I also deserved it because I was a little shit that would sprint away at the first opportunity in the grocery store.
The true hope is a horizontal power structure.
