I've been looking at options for my older clients as MS has been pushing this new Outlook client. Thunderbird is unfortunately fugly compared to more modern looking apps. I haven't been successful transitioning any of those older folks to using Thunderbird as it's too different for them.

I've been rolling back the Outlook installs but it's just a bandaid. I'd love to hear that's there's a comparable replacement to the W10 mail app.

Seeing as I'm self employed, not much. Or maybe everything - could go either way.

I have a pack of these, although perhaps not this specific brand. I swear by them. Mini and micro usb can die in a fire please.

Seconded for Thunder and it is available cross platform (iOS and Android). I like Voyager too but Thunder uses iPad screen real estate better IMO. RIP Liftoff

If you want to access your KeePass safe from multiple devices (phone, tablet, PC, etc), you have to host it somewhere.

If you're brave enough to roll your own: KeePass XC. If not, Bitwarden. (edit for clarity)

I think the answer is obvious: because that's what sells and is popular. There are all black cases to be found though such as this one for example.

About 20 years ago, while we waited at a red light, my wife and I saw a kid chase after his skateboard into an intersection. The oncoming traffic was coming over a blind hill. The driver didn't have a chance to react.

The kid didn't die, but the scene was horrific. It took me many days before I could fall asleep without seeing it in my mind, and to this day it stays with me.

Mine is Sony. First the rootkit scandal, then the removal of Other OS from PS3s after featuring it as a selling point in the marketing. Totally deceptive and I won't give them my money.

The video was great and I like Marques' EV videos in general.

But this truck seems awful. So many strange choices. From the weird gear selection to the 'beast' mode option and everything in between. Looks are also pretty subjective but I think this thing is super ugly.

Now the prices being way off from what was originally promised? Oof this is a miss for me.

We as in Lemmy users probably don't care about Twitter at all. But there are 100s of Millions of active Twitter users, so it's no surprise this is in the news.

We don't know yet, but the rumor mill says the setting will be geo locked. So probably not.

For everyone rejoicing in this thread, there's no way Apple will allow this outside the EU. From the article:

I want side loading as much as the next guy, but Apple will only do the bare minimum to appease the EU regulations. Suck for those of us outside the EU.
