  • Product placement for NordVPN and Naughty America in a single line.

  • Valuable training data for AI. Spez does not give a damn about it. He gladly takes money and sell it off to someone like OPEN AI whose models can be trained on its data.

"I trained on millions of users' data and now I ape them. AITA?"

  • You know what, you should totally do that. If you believe you got enough post .com anecdotes and stuff, you should start a blog and tell us young uns what it was like to be a tech guy in the early zeros. I am a sucker for life stories and experiences of early internet era programmers.

  • The studs at the local Blue Oyster don't call me Spider Man for no reason.

  • only it’s collecting the effect of the data points ( like pixels in a picture) more accurately

Isn't that the entire point of creativity. though? What separates an artist from a bad painter is the positioning of pixels on a 2-Dimensional plane? If the model collects the positions of pixels together with the pixel RGB (color? Don't know the technical term for it), then the model is effectively stealing the "pixel configuration and makeup" of that artist which can be reproduced by the said model anywhere if similar prompts were passed to it?

  • Tech illiterate guy here. All these Ml models require training data, right? So all these AI companies that develop new ML based chat/video/image apps require data. So where exactly do they? It can't be that their entire dataset is licensed, isn't it?

If so, are there any firms that are using these orgs for data theft? How to know if the model has been trained on your data? Sorry if this is not the right place to ask.

  • I am using Paulgo.io's instance. Do all instances have the same index or each one it's own?

  • Here is what you should have done. Get a cheap ass domain and signup for Zoho's email service which is totally free. I bought a cheap domain from them. The price is very reasonable. Then AI proceeded to make use of their free email suite service, which requires your custom domain (hence the cheap domain purchase). The free email suite gives you give free email accounts. Each email account in turn has unlimited alias feature. I use their email accounts each for different uses (work, social media, etc). For only 10$ a year, I do not suffer from spam, promotions and shit. I use a dedicated alias for cookiebeggars and registration mofos who won't let you see their content. Another alias for a pathetic spamming shopping site etc. They have a mail client for all platforms so no issue with accessibility. The email has calendar, bookmarking, note taking and other small managerial stuff too. I recomend this approach.

  • They annoyed me to no end when they genocided iGoogle pages in favor of Google+, which ended up getting purged too.

Its like, all the Google's products are Stalin's ministers and no one knows who is going to get offed and why.

  • With all the biases the bots carry, it'll be law time for many of these corporations. Money gained by firing developers will be lost on retaining DIck, Schlong & Partners.

  • Google these :

    • CIsco router IP Theft
    • List of Huawei IP violations
    • Chinese IP Theft.

These are just the breaking news incidents. There are hundreds, possibly thousands of products that were 'copied' with middle finger displayed to IP Law.

  • Google this : Cisco router IP Theft Huawei

  • Revo has nice UI. All the options are present in aesthetically and it's easy to use. But it has a free and a paid version. Which led me to install BCU. But I don't think BCU is good at cleaning up vestigial files after uninstalling a program. There's always some files left unremoved which have to be deleted manually after a program is uninstalled. I didn't have this issue with Revo.

  • Is wiztree much better than BCU and Bleachbit? Like, removing al the vestiges of an uninstalled program. I feel like BCU is half-assing it. Earlier I used to use Revo Uninstaller which is I think much better than BCU.

  • Bleachbit vs BCUninstaller vs WinDirStat vs Wiztree, which should I prefer? I am currently using BCU.
