  • Did the new york post suddenly become a legitimate publication when I wasn't looking? Am I thinking of a different paper?

Because the new york post I'm aware of is such a steaming pile of shit that presenting it as actual information is tantamount to doing the work of a hostile foreign government.

I would be embarrassed I didn't spot that it was a link to them, but the formatting on this post/app/whatever makes it extremely hard to notice.

Anyway, nothing about the comment you replied to could possibly be considered lame, so I don't know what the hell angle you're trying to get at here.

  • I bought a game on switch for like 40 bucks that ended up being really bad, and tried to get it refunded within about two hours of purchase, after about thirty minutes of play time. Couldn't get the refund.

Ever since, I was VERY slow to buy anything, because, what if it's unexpectedly bad? I have to know I mean it, otherwise I shouldn't buy it. I want to buy a game, not flush money down the toilet.

So, now I kind of just don't want a Switch 2.

  • I'm still confused how he could have been dumb enough to think, let alone imply, let alone say out loud, that Republicans want to reign in big tech, when they so transparently want to capture it and make it an even worse version of itself. It's not that everything they do is a cynical power grab, it's that everything they do is a blatant cynical power grab, and being in the privacy business without having a perfectly clear understanding of that feels equivalent to not knowing what a VPN is.

His statement here is great, and I support it whole-heartedly and unabashedly. It just feels almost...I don't know, unrelated somehow? Even though ostensibly it isn't.
