I give workshops on privacy. I always tell them that if they get nothing else out of my presentation, its that they should use a password manager.
Honestly I think keepass should be beginner. That comes first before everything else.
Also I think Tor Browser should come before VPNs. Its free and easier to use than VPNs (for when you want to google something secret and don't want to be tracked. Most beginners are selective like that)
Many things are banned because the human body that is harmed is the farmworker. There may be no delectable harm to the consumer.
We should still ban imports of shoes from companies that employ child slave labor. And we should also ban bananas that use chemicals that cause reproductive diseases and cancer in farm workers
Like Ecuador may use some terrible banned pesticides or fertilizer. When a banana boat arrives at Vancouver, how the hell would you know if you can't test for its presence in the peel or flesh?
The oligarchs suck, but the country really is beautiful. Glacier National Park, Yosemite, Yellowstone, etc.
I could never give up access to that beauty. BANF is nice I guess, but being able to just fuck off in the wilderness year-round (go south in winter, go north in summer) is something I haven't found in any other country on 4 Continents.
I also would never unlock my phone when ordered. If they ever asked, they'd just steal it (unlocked and off) and I'd buy a replacement. Only $100 lost. Not a big deal.
Well that sounds like a malware poisoned well
