  • While it is annoying to people like you and me, this is a good thing for the average user. Your average downloads folder probably contains sensitive information that shouldn't be visible to apps. Same with Android/data. Locking it down is annoying for sure, but it's admittedly a good privacy&security measure.

  • Their selling point now seems to be that they make small flagships, which is cool, I guess. Could use more of them in the Android space. But their promised support period (maybe 2,3 years?) and the whole thing with their bootloader unlock leave a bad taste in my mouth.

  • Is there a word for a third/fourth wheel friend? You know, the one that always walks behind, the one that sits next to their two or four best friends in class, but just far enough so that the conversation either doesn't concern them, or they don't hear enough to contribute to it. Is that even common? Or is it just me?

  • I prefer an e-reader and digital books. I pirate them for my kindle.

    • No space and weight so you can take them anywhere
    • Piracy
    • Can download far faster than ordering or going to the bookstore
    • Can find niche or foreign books my local bookstores don't have
    • Built-in dictionary and translation is just moah
    • Adjustable text size or font
    • Easy on the eyes, can read in the dark
    • Can pick up where you left off super easily, no need to worry about bookmarks

I was not an avid reader prior to the Kindle purchase. I used to read comic books almost exclusively haha. Nowadays my reading habits include more book reading as well. The Kindle was honestly one of the best purchases I've ever made.
