So, funny thing. We wanted to name him but couldn't think of a name....he started responding to the place holder name...so now he's Meo Meo....

I live in Vietnam. This is perhaps the most common reason for use of indoor cameras here. People buy random cheap Chinese security cameras on the internet and put them in their homes. They blindly trust these cameras, which leads to what you're seeing in this article.

He's doing better! He's walking better, can run a little bit, can jump a little bit too, and just generally seems more agile. Got his second shot!

Right. I asked the vet and he said that based on what he's seeing, this wasn't it. As for how he's doing, he was doing better after the first shot he got. He started getting more mobile, walking faster, being able to jump a little bit and such. He got the second shot today. We'll continue to monitor his progress.

He started walking weird, really slow compared to normal. His tail was all weird. It doesn't go straight up or go into the question mark shape when he sees me anymore, it was at a low angle. When he stretches, it's in this weird parabola shape. He didn't come out of his normal spot to cuddle with me when I wake up, and he didn't come out for food either. When I pick him up and bring him to the food bowl he'll lap it up like normal. If i pick him up and put him in my lap he would cuddle like normal as well. He showed zero signs of fear or aggression. So I thought something was seriously seriously wrong. I brought him to the vet the next day.

Yeah, the vet said the symptoms were mild so I'm hopeful.

Thank you ❤️. Honestly, it was really really weird. He was his usual playful self, running and jumping all over the place. And then suddenly out of nowhere he screeched really loud from the other room. When I checked up on him he was just on the ground meowing out. And then he started walking weird, didn't come out for food (had to pick him up and bring him to the bowl), his tail got all weird so I brought him to the vet. It was literally like a switch flipped. Looking back now, I'm feeling really guilty. Maybe there were warning signs and I missed them, idk.

A bowl of hot instant ramen with a poached egg is my go-to. Very simple, takes at most 10 minutes, and tastes really good too.

This person is clearly well-intentioned, so I don't think an exploit was the cause of your phone being unlocked. If they knew an exploit it's likely that by now everything about you would've been compromised already, like you would've lost access to your accounts and all your money would be gone. This person probably unlocked your phone by using your pin code, so either it was a very common pin code, or something suggested here, like smudges on your screen revealing the pin code, or highly unlikely, they guessed your pin code. Anyway, it's better safe than sorry so check if your OS' been tampered with using the GrapheneOS auditor app. Even if it hasn't, you should back up everything and factory reset it just to err on the side of caution. And in the future, use an 8-10 digit pin code with pin scrambling enabled.

Doesn't posts that people I follow boost that's on Threads also show up?

Does anyone know a decently sized mastodon instance that's defederated from Threads? I need to move from mastodon.world which wants to wait and see what Threads does. I moved to mastodon to get away from mainstream social media and I don't want any of Threads content in my feed. So please suggest some instances!
