for real....my last account, i got banned from r/antiwork for saying eat the rich in relevant context. i appealed the ban, appeal denied. i PM'ed the mod and called him a hypocrite, account banned from reddit for mod harassment. appealed that, was told that was indeed harassment. they killed the API a few months later so I never got around to making another one

Dude that’s gotten me to not place several Amazon orders lately. Pick items with free shipping that arrive on the same day, go to checkout, 1 of the items is set to not ship with the rest and charge me despite clearly saying free shipping. I’ll reload my cart and now that item will be included and a different item will be the one getting a shipping charge! If you reload enough eventually it will fix, but the second time I ram into that glitch I just said fuck this and drove to the store instead. Amazon can fuck themselves

I was always a lurker on reddit because every time I spoke my mind I would get silenced/banned/whatever. Literally every time I ever tried to say anything that wasn't 100% in lockstep with the hive mind, shut down, so I stopped bothering. So far Lemmy has been great in that regard!
