  • Why do I feel more sympathy for the shooter then? Let me explain myself. I don't condone his actions, but here's the thing.. You have no idea what a stranger is going through in their life. No idea what trauma lies in their past. Going up to strangers and trying to provoke them could yield wildly different responses from person to person, and in the world we live in that could easily involve anger. Some people are barely holding it together and all they need is a jarring incident like this to make them snap. The shooter didn't provoke this situation. Yes he reacted poorly, but the entire thing would have been avoided if the brain dead YouTuber wasn't going around trying to elicit a response for clicks.

  • Whoa! That is very interesting. I've got so many questions. How old are they? Are they very wealthy? Large house/property? Age range of the kids? I'm assuming this is over an extended period, not all at the same time, but either way that takes dedication.

  • I was able to post yesterday using Memmy, and today Voyager worked (all of this was from my instance to Lemmy.world) The error I was getting yesterday would happen when I selected a photo. It would spin and then give the error before I had written the title/text or tried to post. It was like it was failing to fetch the image link from imgur. Thankfully it seems to be working again. Love the app, thanks for all your hard work!

  • He seems to be doing really well (checkup next week) Before the whole deal with having to pull the teeth, we had already switched him to wet food because he was so skinny. I'm beginning to think that's just his body type because he has gained over two pounds and still looks just as skinny. I feed him about a can and a half a day. Lol

  • I was gonna say, ever heard of "dry socket"? Honestly though, when I had my wisdom teeth pulled I was still smoking cigarettes and I'd just put wet gauze in the back over the holes and do it anyway. I got lucky I guess and got away with it.

  • If you go to the inbox tab, and then select messages, then select the message you received, when it opens are you not able to click the name at the top of the message to view profile? That's how it works for me. I can't just click the name at any point until I've got that message open with their name at the top.

  • The vet said it's unusual to see it so young, and then also said he had never seen a case so bad, even in adults. His gums looked like hamburger meat and it broke my heart. He had given no indication that it was painful to eat the dry food. We've had to get steroid shots every month since we started and the vet said THAT can lead to diabetes, so we need to get the teeth out and hope that's the last of it. Surgery is on the 7th, so hopefully that'll be the end of it. I hope your girl fares much better!

  • Oh he always does. He gets wet food because he's got bad teeth (something called stomatitis) where he's allergic to his own tooth enamel. We are half way through having his teeth removed. Vet couldn't do them all in one session because some are still very well seated and he'd have to be under sedation too long. It sucks big time but he's a really good boy and has been a trooper through all the vet visits.

is a pic from when I was ignoring him a few minutes before.
