  • You mean communism? I studied it. A beautiful theory. Sadly it doesn’t work

  • I mean, Apple went all in with USB-C in their 2016 MacBooks Pro. It was a very bold move and very early, and I'm sure it made USB C more popular as suddenly there was a need for USB C accessories. Apple always made moves like these. Removing the CD ROM drive, the Floppy disk etc. Everyone think of "lightning" in phones, but that was invented when there was only mini USB, and Apple wanted something smaller, and pluggable from whenever side (like USB C now). I don't think Apple kept using Lightning to be "different", but because its clients already have a lot of lightning stuff at this point (like me). I'm happy that Apple is moving (or forced to move) to USB C in their mobile phones, but just because at this point I have already USB C stuff. I'm glad they stuck with Lightning these last years. Anyway, I don't care, but there's just this meme that Apple wants to be different and create issues, but as a 15+ years Apple user after being a pc user from the early 90s I don't feel like this is true.

  • True. But there's this kind of nostalgia for communism and what started the revanchism of the late '90s in KGB officials and Putin that stopped Russia's evolution in a free country. Kind of sad, they have now the worst of both worlds

  • I agree too. The problem is many communist are actually Russian propagandists. There, they "really" think communism is a viable option. But openly discussing this stuff without bias? That would be awesome. Also probably not happening

  • Apple basically invented USB-C

  • Glad to be of help, let us know!

  • Yeah I didn’t mean this one, but in general. You can’t make a coffee tastes like bourbon by how you brew it. But you can choose coffees which have notes like wine, dark cherry, liquor etc. These are probably what will give you boozy notes. As per the brewing, I feel boozy notes are accentuated with a sweeter profile, likely with an higher extraction. One way to get that, for example, is trying a one or two minute long bloom. You can also try to grind finer or using an higher water temperature. But long bloom works well in my experience. Happy bean hunting!

  • Some processes can have alcohol notes, due to fermentation. Like Carbonic Maceration coffee. Some natural and honey too but it depends, they’re less funky than cm or anaerobics. Then there’s also barrel aged coffees, typically in rhum barrels. It’s more like they’re flavored this way. They’re more common toward Christmas

  • Oh oh I wish this was available for Safari too

  • In Europe we all pretty much support Ukraine. “Peace” and stop war protests / parties are funded by Russia as part of their disinformation tactics

Of course, Ukraine can’t join NATO if it has contested territories (that works trigger article 5)

That’s what Russia hopes I think at this point. Will Ukraine give up some territories in some kind of treaty to join NATO with the remaining? I doubt it..

  • In Europe no one uses SMSs so the blue/green stuff doesn’t exist (they all use WhatsApp for some reason). iPhone are only costly or very costly so yeah they are a bit of a status symbol. Applies to all expensive stuff. Personally I love mine and I love the experience of using Apple products, but I don’t care about what anyone uses

  • Oh I forgot about this. Just tried it, awesome. Low user count for my niche interest but I hope it can grow

  • Hope he comes over here
