  • It depends on if I want the higher speeds or if I'm in a part of my house that doesn't have perfect coverage (and suspect speeds as well)

Strangely enough, all of my devices lack an ethernet port so I have a few USB to Ethernet adapters around my house.

  • I suppose it is neither a taco or a sand which, however it lives within the sandwich family. What's weird is if we take the inner radius as it runs towards zero it would look no different to a sandwich (save the weirdly thick bread that looks similar to a burger), but it would be topologically different shape.

I suppose it depends on if you consider a bagle split more naturally a sandwich or not, and, if so, then it matters if the if the space of the filling being connected matters or not.

  • I'm in the same position. My Linux machine is for gaming and .... Interesting tasks that could be hazardous to set up on my Mac.

The hardware quality is sublime as well. However, dailing Linux for a bit and going back to MacOS made me appreciate it more. Homebrew is a hair slow tho 😂

  • Did for me, at least. Having a "slower" version of reddit has done wonders for me. I've been able to get the news updates on Lemmy, but there isn't a deluge of dopamine hits in my feed like Reddit. It's done wonders for me.

  • I work in a .net shop. It is a hair painful, to say the least, and I'm constantly looking over the fence longingly. They exist, are the minority, and are a fucking nightmare by comparison.
