i have recently gotten a harsh response from lemmy about this, but i am 100% with Ms Freeman on this. i WILL NOT vote for Biden and i would sooner die than vote for Trump.
i absolutely think this is a valid response to our current situation.
i told the recruiter that my student loans were serviced by Sallie Mae. he told me that, for certain, my loans would be paid by the G.I. bill. i was desperate to move out of my parents house.
it wasn't until the day before shipping out, the day that i raised my right hand and swore an oath, that i found out he lied. i went anyway and didn't get my loans paid.
i have downloaded tens of thousands of dollars of audio recording software. i always told myself that, if i were to ever make money from my efforts and usage thereof, i would be happy to pay the author.
i never made any money. but i hope the right people got paid by those that did.
