  • Not to mention they were fine without ads and forcing content creators to spew the whole "like and subscribe or else the algorithm will hunt me down" bullshit. This is all because of corporate greed, it's so disgusting. They just want to get on the subscription gravy train because it lets them have their cake and eat it too, meanwhile content creators are left out in the cold even though they're the only reason people still use YT at this point.

  • Example:

Frito Lay originally gave us 7 days sick + 7 days as mandated. Something changed (legalese, idk), this dropped to 7 days total for the calendar year which was the CA days + company days (they were being generous). Which, when played out, ended up with people getting strikes against them after the CA mandated days were used up, as it was seen as repetitive behavior. If they really didn't like you, good fucking luck. They would basically use it as an easy way to get people fired over repeat "offenses".

This was a while ago, so my memory might be a bit fuzzy, but it was overall, a huge fucking joke.

  • I worked there before it went to shit and left riiiiiight as they started gutting inventory teams. It has had absolutely spectacular fallout across the board just because they didn't like inventory team + system telling them their stock counts were totally fucked as a result of never giving overnight time to properly unload trucks.

It's even funnier because it's like this at almost any store you go into, same shit different spoon. Oh and pushing overnight to dayside so they didn't give them the extra money on their pay + hire less people lol. What a joke.

  • Probably the ring +/- the adjacent films. Absolutely fucked me up for most of my childhood where I had issues falling asleep, looking under covers, etc. Not as bad now but certain things will trigger me still and it takes a few days to get back to normal.
