  • Finally ๐ŸŽ‰ Love you guys โ™ฅ๏ธ

  • It just making things easier and cleaner. When you remove a container, you know there is no leftover except mounted volumes. I like it.

  • Yes it is possible and I want to implement it soon, but I can't give a date. I'm thinking of making it so that when the bot is mentioned in a reply to a comment, make it notify comments only on that comment chain.

  • So itโ€™s like Local view but for other instances. Good idea I liked it ๐Ÿ‘

  • I believe they just couldnโ€™t finish crucial tasks. I check the repos sometimes and theyโ€™re fixing so many breaking bugs.

  • TBH I don't like those bots either ๐Ÿ‘

  • Yeah make sense. I've updated it to work that way ๐Ÿ‘

  • I don't think those would work TBH. Activation can be done by PM, but I don't think anyone would want to do that.

  • I'm moving bot messages to PMs right now. So there will be no bot message.

  • This feature must be implemented by built-in in the first place. But your idea makes sense too. Iโ€™ll try to discuss this with UI devs.

  • I think to get mentioned comment, it needs to get parent post too. As I said, I need to test it. I can only assume right now.

  • Iโ€™m using a library named lemmy-bot. To achieve what you say, I need to modify both library and lemmy server. As you can guess, I canโ€™t afford time for these ๐Ÿ™‚

I think itโ€™s not using much resources anyways. 2 requests per minute is nothing compared to hundreds of ActivityPub requests per second.

I didnโ€™t tested non-followed community, but the bot works with mention event instead of comment. But still not sure, Iโ€™ll test this one ๐Ÿ™

  • It will do soon ๐Ÿ‘

  • Its polling every 30th second only on my instance. So donโ€™t worry, it will not make any difference for you โœŒ๏ธ

  • I wish it was built-in too, but its not, unfortunately.

Today Iโ€™ll make it send PM and not comment.

  • I donโ€™t know about the options youโ€™ve said but I agree this should be a built-in feature. But itโ€™s not.

  • There is auto complete on default UI, I can just type โ€œ@postwโ€ and itโ€™s showing me the bot. Iโ€™m not sure about bookmarks but they should implement auto completion on their apps.

  • Valid criticism. Iโ€™ll try to clear it tomorrow ๐Ÿ‘ Any suggestions are appreciated.
