I was worried about the possible high overhead of CoW in BTRFS. I guess it won't cause much of a problem. Thank you 🙏

I don't know much about immutable distros, but with a quick look, you're probably right. It looks like Bazzite is based on Fedora atomic desktop.

I meant using BTRFS for system and ext4 for the game folder. Why you wouldn't use BTRFS though?

I don't think XMPP is simpler than Matrix. With my insufficient knowledge; XMPP servers and clients have different standards. Some supports audio/video calls, some requires encryption while other maybe not etc.

Matrix has a standard set of features and all software around it built for those features. TBH I find Matrix pretty instable lately tho.

I think the definition of best programming language here is not popular and hyped but “the one I use”. I really believe Java is worse than Rust for contributors. We’ll see how it goes.
