Why can I only login to my hexbear account from a browser, and not from apps such as Sync, Infinity and so on.

  • Does defed.xyz checking other softwares like Akkoma? For my instance, defed.xyz shows only dubvee.org is defederated, which is correct.

    But in the other hand, federation-checker shows only matrix.rocks defederated, which is a Akkoma instance. I'm not sure is it correct since IDK where is Akkoma's defederated list but both sites showing different sites.

    • You don’t pay for storing on multiple servers. I never saw something like this on any provider I know.
    • Upgrading storage is not cheaper. Instance media storage reaches 500GB in a month and S3 is always cheaper than data volumes with given options for pictrs.
    • Backblaze is not cheapest. It has egress fees so it will cost much more than others. Although its cheaper than AWS.
