There is no real reason why you can't use Linkwarden for data preservation. I tend to keep things separate. Read it later articles go in Readeck, data I want to save goes in Karakeep, and important bookmarks like online accounts, business links, etc go in Linkwarden. They are pretty much interchangeable, it's just my wonky way of keeping everthing separated.
Linkwarden is very polished, has some neat features for bookmarks. Readeck is nice for quick read-it-later data. I use it a lot when I see an article I want to read, I'll save it, and read it in the evening laying in bed with a bowl. Karakeep is for data preservation. Those are my top three.
imho, Karakeep is more for data preservation. Readeck is for articles you want to read later. Linkwarden is for important bookmarks like online accounts, billing accounts, etc. However, there is nothing that keeps you from using either as a bookmark app.
Other than hearing his name, I've never seen any of his content, nor do I know any of his lore. If in fact, he once was and has now changed his core convictions, then great. I have no issue with anyone who changes their minds in light of new evidence, or after taking inventory of one's life, and deciding a new route. Both are commendable. Lord knows we've all done some shit in the past that was definitely cringe...I know I have. But we grow, and we learn, and in the process we become better human beings.
There’s also a licensing system in place with limitations on what kind of systems you can connect to in the community edition as I am trying to make a living out of this. I understand that this is a deal-breaker for some, so I wanted to give a heads-up.
I am always empathetic to my brother man's needs. I think we have a moral obligation to help those in need. However, I am not always sympathetic with their actions. It can be quite the conundrum. Yet still, I have nothing but love in my heart for my brother man, no matter who they are or what they are, despite my disagreeance with their actions.
Just to say, even tho I do not have an immediate use case, the demo is very nice. It looks very polished and professional. Everything seemed to fit together nicely. I have bookmarked it in my /future_projects/ folder.
I'm probably telling you wrong, but I've only been able to do the cs-blocklist-mirror and firewall-bouncer. There are a bunch of the scenarios that are remediation components. If you look at something like cs-cloudflare-worker-bouncer, well I don't have a use for the cs-cloudflare-worker-bouncer remediation component, so that doesn't get installed. Same for remediation components like cs-aws-waf-bouncer. So yes, there are unlimited remediation components, just not all will fit your use case. As I understand it, you can even write your own, tho I've not dabbled in that aspect.
If all you want to do is look at Docker logs and the occasional syslog, then I would think Dozzle to be quite capable in conjunction with something along the lines of lnav.
