I mean yeah, a major international crisis is completely expected IMO. You get what you vote for (or in the case of many Americans, don't vote for)

Likely they have proprietary or otherwise private information they want to clean out first, or they want to make it more presentable or documented.

I agree I'm not a fan of the "trying to" phrasing either.

I doubt that there are enough people shooting enough guns often enough for it to be more than just trace exposures, it likely must be something else.

It's quite impressive IMO that you are into open-source software even though you say you don't know anything about computers, I'd say that counts as something, plus you know about Lemmy too. We all love open-source software here :)

The issue is, banks are only going to do what they're required to do by law. The government is run by dinosaurs who don't know what computers are, let alone what TOTP is.

I've been daily driving Linux since 2017, I started with Ubuntu and it's been great. I recently got a Lenovo T14 Gen 1 and put Linux Mint 22 on it, and I've been playing some games on it and it's been pretty nice for such a portable laptop.

Great, can't wait to afford one in 2050.

I've had a Samsung SSD die on me, I've had many WD drives die on me (also the last drive I've had die was a WD drive), I've had many Seagate drives die on me.

Buy enough drives, have them for a long enough time, and they will die.

There are tons of good games always coming out even recently, unless you only like multi-player games.

I guess it makes sense, new games come out with anticheat, and rarely do new games come out without anticheat.

That's one thing I really like about lemmy.ml compared to some other instances, it's always kept up to date. I'd host my own for myself but then it's just another thing I'm responsible for and I'd rather not.

I don't think that's possible, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure he knows he can get away with anything, and his stupid fans will still gladly follow him. He will put the blame on someone else, every time, and they will believe him, every time.
