  • Didn't do that for me, still believe in human rights and don't embrace the left wing. I believe in the freedom to make contracts with people without the government telling you that your profits are too high or whatever the left wing is pushing for

  • NixOS by far has the most momentum right now.

Just check the non-unique package counts:

    https://repology.org/repositories/statistics/nonunique

More than 80K packages that exist in other distros, more than all of packages in AUR combined with 90%+ being the newest version in unstable

And you can run unstable without an issue since you can downgrade individual packages whenever

  • The more charismatic candidate wins almost every time. The parties and candidates already analyzed which issues will get them the votes, they have whole teams breaking down which positions poll the best in which county.

The actual result is based on which candidate voters would rather have a beer with. The elections are mostly decided by swing voters. Swing voters don't have strong opinions on the issues which is why they are swing voters

  • It's not

Trump made gains among men – especially men under 50. Men favored Trump by 12 points (55%-43%) after being closely divided in 2020. In particular, men under 50 split their votes fairly evenly this year (49% Trump, 48% Harris). In 2020, this group backed Biden by 10 points (53% Biden, 43% Trump).

This makes a lot of sense. Democrats don't cater to men. I haven't heard a single Democrat proposal to address any issues for men.

When you say you want to help poor people it will help men, but young men hear this and it doesn't hit directly. When right wing influencers say that Trump will end teaching gender ideology, young men see this as a win for them, even if they are minorities

  • I was about to respond with this, you're still in college in your early 20s. Most of us don't get a four year degree done in actual four years

We got junior devs in their late 20s because they were doing grad school until like 28
