Exactly, so I'm pretty sure a professional photographer knows which way to orient a photo to share their vision, when Eliott Erwin crops a picture of a dog with its owner, it's not at random, there are deliberate choices made before publishing, the photographer could have taken a picture of the subject on their left side, and reversed the picture to show them walking towards the right to achieve whatever vision they had
Disco Elysium is one of my favourite games I've ever played, I alternated between Steam Deck before going to bed and PC once I was hooked ; what an incredible story and depth of lore
I loved Rocket League, are you playing on Epic or do you have the Steam version ? I'm the latter but they kept asking me to create an Epic account which I'm too lazy to do so I just stopped playing lol
Well, in a way it doesn't cost them anything because it's already being broadcast on TV for free, since it's the national / public TV
But also, I'm french and I despise having to give away my email to access "free" things so I just enjoy providing them with the most ridiculous emails, good luck with that database, fellow countryman 😈
I mentioned this in another thread : you can go to France Television's website and sign up with a bogus email (there's no check) to watch live broadcasts and replays for free !
One user pointed out to me that they may geoblock you, so a VPN would be recommended.
And then obviously it's gonna be in french, which definitely isn't ideal if you don't speak the language lol
Yeah the backtracking in Wario Land 3 sometimes feels too punishing, like being caught by a random water bubble and going back up to the very top of the lake, or being bumped by one of those zombies and being mega slow until you walk back to some lightpost, I do think in general this is a clever way to not have a game over state, but some areas aren't well designed for that
But do you really need update from Google if you're planning on installing a custom rom ? Genuine question, I thought your security updates would be handled by /e/ or graphene or whatever you choose
They've probably already been using it, just experimenting on a large scale in order to implement it long term, for the past 7 years this government has been cleaning the carpet for the authoritarian follow up
My current phone (late 2022) cost me 700€, I will never spend that much again. It was supposed to replace my main camera for photography while hiking (weight being a huge factor), and it has. I'm hoping it will last as long as possible (10 years would be great), but after that, I'll probably just get a 100€ brick out of privacy concerns
I'd like more smaller scale projects and events to foster a sense of community, canvas is coming up and it will be a good test to see the dedication and activity of communities in the fediverse
