  • I only ever heard about the name, sounds super fun, thanks!

  • I'm playing Hidden Folks (2017) on Steam Deck, to chill in the evening, it's probably the best where's waldo game on steam ? I don't find the cats series at all engaging

I also reinstalled Darkest Dungeon (2016), this time for sure I will commit to it and not stop after 3 runs 🤡

  • I'm 10 years younger and I feel the same, granted, I still game a lot, but I find myself more excited about the ideas and potential of a game, than actually playing it.

I think it's a normal thing, you gotta get tired of a hobby after so many years, and it's a healthy thing to cycle it out and pick up something else, and maybe come back to it some time later

  • Let me tell you about WrenFeathers, folks. WrenFeathers! Tremendous moderator, just tremendous. You wouldn’t believe how many people—millions, really—are talking about WrenFeathers. Everybody loves this person, okay? And I’m saying that because it’s true. Some people say, “Why WrenFeathers? Why?” And I say, “Why not WrenFeathers?”

  • I really think they shot themselves in the feet by going from a pve online coop game like Helldivers to whatever this is trying to be, that plus the pricing chance (it was supposed to be f2p and is now 40)...

Then again, I don't know what's up internally, they probably know what they're doing, it still feels like it's not going to be popular

  • Just read your update, you made a new friend !

  • I use MiniReview (https://minireview.io/) to have better sorting options for games on Google's Play Store, you can specifically sort for screen orientation, monetisation (or lack of), genre, ads or not, etc

  • Offering cookies does not sound like a sign or romantic interest if that's what you mean, if I had some snacks I would definitely share them with some comrades, especially in the context of volunteering

(I dedicate this book to the rock of hospitality and liberty, to that portion of old Norman ground inhabited by the noble little nation of the sea, to the island of Guernsey, severe yet kind, my present asylum, my probable tomb.)

  • I LOVED it but at that time I was not patient enough to be curious about the various clues, and investigate everything available to explore. I ended up looking for some hints on the net instead of trying harder. It's one of the best investigative games released. I still prefer Outer Wilds and Golden Idol, but Obra Dinn has such strong narration.

  • Pyre as well was super immersive, actually I enjoyed the game way more than Hades, but that's because I was already burnt out of Rogue Likes when it released

  • The (Graphic) Design industry is being overmarketed by influencers trying to sell their overpriced courses, so that they can get a passive income instead of actually working in the field. They have no desire to teach nor mentor students, and the industry is actually extremely saturated with very little prospects unless you land a bingo of both skills and networking.

  • I'm a weird Deck gamer, in that I often start games and come back once in a while, which I never do on PC, where I try to finish one game at a time

    • Death Crown
    • Narita Boy
    • Citizen Sleeper
    • Dave the Diver
    • Deep Rock Galactic Survivor
    • 60 Parsecs!
    • In Other Waters
    • Race the Sun -Merchant of the Skies
  • It's not really gameplay but : not rendering me deaf when launching the game for the first time, games need to have their volume down to 50% by default

  • I'll skip the obvious ones with multiple artists like Furi, Katana Zero, Hotline Miami, Crypt of the Necrodancer...
