  • Ya, I've considered it. My enthusiasm ain't there anymore tho. There are members way more enthusiastic than me. I assume that they are aware of Lemmy. I'll mention it to them. They have a discord too.

    It's generative art. That's the subject. A population of good prometheuses. /r/generative

  • I made a sub that got popular (in its niche). Good people. Little drama. Productive everything. For like 4 years. Then suddenly it's dying. Posts have dropped to 5% prior. I see no leeching competitors. I'm thinking maybe something deep is happening to reddit. Like organ failure. Or brain parasite.

  • Every aristocrat ever has wanted reddit. A mind-control/spy/circus. To keep the underclasses in control. It's only going to become more popular. Gradually replacing all other forms of communication. Eventually mandatory.

  • One definition of "soul" is the attention. Your attention is your soul. Invisible. Crucial. Common.

    (And by "attention" I mean what you direct when you "pay attention", what you concentrate when you concentrate and what gets jerked around when you are distracted)

    (Like, you ever played one of the multiplayer shooters? Let's say that the player is the soul of the avatar. What does it look like when a player switches avatars? What does it look like when the player is away from keyboard?)
