  • Personaly: already has. In general: I hope not because that would mean I need to close my own instance (and every other instance as well… server cost for Reddit is running in the millions per month!)

  • I have the impression they are a bit more privacy minded. Expensive, but privacy minded. I don't feel like the product when using Apple stuff. I feel like the product when using Google stuff.

I guess that will just be an impression, but an important impression for my mind...

  • Deal-breaker in friendship? Hell no. If a friendship is defined by what phone you are using, the world is close to ending I think. Deal-breaker for me personally (as in: I need to use Android device): yes. I'm not making the switch to something Google.

  • Sure, it seems like a user error?

Do I need to create a user first on my instance?

  • A real world one: So, where I live, we speak Dutch (well, Flemish, but who cares). A beer (pint) and a kid (kind) are really close to each other in our language.

The best man in his speech - roughly translated: "take (rape) another kid" (neem nog een kind). He ment to say "take another beer" (neem nog een pint), but the nerves got the best of him.

    Was a funny moment :)
