I am sorry that your work has been ruined. Thank you for all the time and effort you put in, these instances are what makes lemmy a unique place to be. I hope in the future when lemmy has grown up a bit there will be tools so people like you with a passion for creating a community can do so without this sort of strife. <3
I was blown away at the cool design (the case and cover are the heatsink, you install it with a thermal paste pad inside - how cool is that?!) and how inexpensive 1TB m2 cards are now.
If you want expandable storage, then maybe a NAS?
Husband set up one a year or so ago and it has been really cool. Easy to back up and access anything on it.
I have had three moles removed from my face by a regular gp here in Australia. Not a plastic surgeon, just a good gp I trust.
They have all healed beautifully, with invisible scarring.
I tend to keloid on my arms and trunk, so I was very careful with healing. As soon as the stitches came out I put silicone tape over it and kept it taped over a few months.
If it started to feel itchy (a sign of keiloid forming) I would apply a steroid cream.
During the day when I was out and about I used skin coloured silicone scar tape cut to fit, these tapes are very expensive though.
When I was at home or sleeping I used "Fixomul Sensitive" which uses a silicone adhesive and is very inexpensive for a whole roll.
Once they had healed enough that they were flat and white (not the pink or red of a healing scar) I stopped with the tape and was very careful to apply good sunscreen for the rest of a year.
You cannot tell I had anything done, at all.
Be careful with healing and you will be fine! <3
Holy shit... If people can buy influence, then the political nutbags that already influence social media through bot accounts will now be able to directly use their money to further push their agendas unfettered... I am so glad I jumped ship when I did.
Fair enough, perhaps it was solved simply by going to my profile, checking things, and saving? Either way, I was having this issue and it has been resolved since.
I got this and had to log into my home instance and under settings in my profile, there is a list of languages. I had to hold ctrl to select "undetermined" and "English". After I saved that it seemed to fix things here.
The "undetermined" language you want to keep, otherwise it will filter out many posts.
My family all have Samsung phones, I guess because we like to stick with what we know. That said, this has never happened to us. I suspect it is a carrier thing, we purchase our phones outright from Samsung or an electronics store, not from the phone carrier on a plan. We are also in Australia, which may have an effect.
I have google home to control everything, but I still have to set them up using the original apps. I haven't checked out Tuya, I'll have a google thanks.
Same, everything we have purchased from them has been high quality.
