I'm simply suggesting new comers to learn how this place works. If people get scared over how a software works it's even more evidence that we need to help them understand.

Do you really feel this person who use X and meta, who gets featured daily on mass media and who is a member of the red and blue party is ever going to make an actual improvement? The hope for america is that people wake up and realize how hard they are getting fooled by the government.

Whatever nefarious stuff they’re doing isn’t more valuable than 20 minutes of my real world time.

I'm not sure if you are trolling. 20 minutes is a random number we pick up it probably take even less and 20 minutes is not really much time, we waste more time doing more useless things

Nobody is forcing you but you should really consider investing 20 minutes in learning how lemmy is different. You may think it's not that serious but look at where popular centralized platforms are heading to, now that bad actors are taking full control the problem cannot be ignored

Most governments around the world are ruled by villains consumed by greed and lust of power. If you support and fuel a genocide you are bad on pairs as nazi regardless of your country or political agenda. The government of israel by definition can't be nazi but they are committing crimes as the nazi were.

Don't try to spin logic. The red and blue party were both and has always been unified in supporting the fascist israel government in getting rid of gaza. People who chose not to play the rigged show the US government put up with elections is doing way less harm to humanity than the ones actively voting and supporting murderers.

Sitting out was a choice as so was voting for murderers with blood on their hands. If you always make the good choice you will have no regrets because that is what you are supposed to do.
