  • Oh gawd no. I did tolerate a friend of a friend who voted Trump under the agreement we weren't gonna talk politics.

But.... Then roe v wade got over tuned and he was openly laughing at me loosing basic human rights. Anyways, he is in jail now anyways for trying to shoot his GF while blackout drunk.

And that's the story of when I decided to have standards for people I let in to my life.

  • Good for him. As a queer woman, it's always nice to see progress. But just like Pete Buttigeig, trash policies means I absolutely won't vote for him. Nor commit his name to memory, despite libertians booing at Trump the other day, they are still conservatives so this dork championing their deregulation nonsense doesn't move the needle for me.

  • It would be a smart move by larian, but there is worry that wizards of the coast/hasbro, owners of Dnd, would not allow that. Currently they are pushing their micro transaction subscription "Dnd beyond" tabletop game. While not quite the same thing as BG3, I wouldn't be the most suprised if some core coop features from the base game aren't fully Implemented.

  • Oh sorry lol, I just really like noir and will take any reason to gush.

And yeah, he was a horrible monster, I loved every second. 😂

  • Well idk if I would say that, it was just a classic trope. Noir is very much alive and defined by not having any "good" charcters, just lots of shades of gray quasi heroes. "Nightcralwer", "Emily the Criminal" and "Girl with the dragon tattoo" movies are great examples of modern noir. That trope is just dated, but also still used in sci-fi like Blade Runner.

  • Many states will not allow a divorce if the woman is pregnant, it's a twisted cycle of abuse and control.

A study recently published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons found that states that restricted abortion access from 2018 to 2020 had a 75 percent higher rate of peripartum homicide — people who were killed while pregnant or in their first year after giving birth — than states without restrictions. The same trend did not hold in homicide rates for men.

Just like the pieces of shit that rail about "No fault divroce destroying the family", Restrictions on the bodily autonmy of women leads only to death and misery, I refuse to call those people "pro-life" or "pro-family", they are simply anti-womens rights.

  • Ugggh....

Hillary, come on. I swear she is lab grown to be smug and unlikeable.

  • That's not true, but I've gone round and round with these black pill talking points enough to know that there isn't anything I could say to change your mind, at least not here in this thread.

I implore you to seek out new content and to shut off whatever incel sources that told you this. It's not some harsh but true reality that most people are too PC to say out loud, but a defensive mechanism to blame women for your loneliness. And tragically one that women rightfully see as 🚩 's and stay away from.

This lonely angry ideology is a self fulfilling prophecy and I can only hope that one day you understand that.

  • This is less a discussion, more just you ranting at a strawman. So okay, whatever.

You win. You beat the words that you put in my mouth.

    Good job? Idc.

  • LMAO

Some variation of all men being the same

    You misandrists are predictable af.

Pick a lane, you're pre accusing me of something you are actively doing. Beyond me how you wrote those two lines back to back without realizing the irony.

  • You should stop spending your time looking for threads about men as a vehicle to say inflammatory whataboutism and instead consult with a therapist why you are so inflamed by the evidence of patriarchy. You're literally in a thread about a scientific study of how prevalent the problem is, but all you see is misandry.

Doing the first can't possibly be making you happy, probably a frustrating angry way to live. However getting to the heart of your gender insecurity and defensiveness has a chance at actually producing better results for your life.

Edit: The fact that you think I just hate men really underlines my point.

  • Correct, now its mostly used as a lighting rod strawman that defensive insecure men attack while ironically complaining about how poor men's mental health is.

Which is exactly what the 60's men liberation movement was trying to avoid.

  • FYI, this user was sharing the racist ass incel "men prefer the bear because it's brown, tall and abandons their children" image in threads about man or bear.

Food for thought if you think they are making a good point here (they aren't).

  • Your daily reminder that "toxic masculinity" was a term coined by men sick of the negative mental health effects on having to conform to aggressive and dominate stereotypes.

Ya know, in case you think some other gender came up with it.

  • Trump was booed especially loudly when he called for the Libertarian Party to nominate him, instead of its own candidate, in the election.

"Or you can just keep getting your three percent"

Not that I care, but what the fuck was your plan here? Just roasting libertarians for the fun of it?

Which to be fair, is a hobby of mine.

  • Told the fiance of the girl I was secretly seeing that I would probably bang her tonight at her birthday party. I vaguely remember puking in the toilet that night but then woke up in the garage the next morning confused why everyone was giving me the stink eye.

I still feel really bad about it, like not even just how I told but the fact that I was even seeing her anyways. I was young, but that's not an excuse and I should've know better.

That night was a wake up call.

  • It's always hilarious and frustrating when people who don't understand a topic try to disprove it. This is the same energy as flat earthers pointing to the horizon and going "See!?!" or anti-vaxxers pointing out people who still get sick.

Anyone who thinks this logic is compelling should actually crack a book. I'd recommend Judith butlers gender trouble, but this sort of meme is peak dunning kruger. Literally too ignorant of a topic to actually argue against it.

  • He was the real cautionary tale of the doc, that level of "Hail-corperate-my-identity-is-consuming" is just sad.
