Why can't we do psychological warfare on them? I thought they were so much dumber than us.

What I took from it is they're LARPing as fascists doing fashy things, but they're not operating under the same level of competence that more successful fascist regimes do. It's about a bunch of overweight pigs that can't even pass a physical, putting on a German helmet and bossing people around, while being too fucking stupid to be capable of believing in anything let alone even know what they're doing.

The protests won't go far enough to make a difference and fizzle out like every other "movement" in American history.

I'll believe it when I see it. Police could bomb their own cities with plastic explosives and Americans won't do anything about it.

They could temporarily trap a population within a city by surrounding it with some barricades and stuff but that won’t last long.

Why wouldn't it last long? Is there some sort of organized fighting force of the people we're not aware of? Didn't think so.

The population size of the US has a massive ratio of more citizens than law enforcement and military. They can’t take us all.

Yet they already are.

For someone like me, if the food supplies were all cut off I could just live off of the land by hunting, fishing, and farming.

Ah yes, the government has famously left people like you alone and totally won't turn your land into gravel, drain your water table, and dump the pollution into your river.

Meanwhile most Americans who are forced to work full time with no paid vacation or healthcare instead go off and say, "I don't pay attention to politics, it's depressing. I'm just gonna work on myself," as they accept never being able to afford their dream vacation, their own home, or that new truck they desperately need.

Did peaceful protest and peaceful organizing stop fascism last time in your country? And you say I live in a fantasy, while spitting on the millions who died to prevent a fascist (from your country no less) by saying that "peaceful protest/organizing" is somehow less fantastical solution to that problem. Have you no shame, or humility for history, let alone your own country?

Did anyone protest when Philadelphia police dropped bombs on their own city in 1985 to kill black people? Didn't think so.

Whatever it takes, and peaceful solutions have proven ineffective for decades.

Change needs to be cultural. So long as we live in our current cultural distinctions of "mine and thine" instead of some sort of collaborative being then this will keep on happening.
