Not necessarily. Pretty sure when America is divided into civil war, you bet there will be Spetznaz training local insurgency to help facilitate weapons and instability in the region. You know, like what America did to Russia's borders (the middle east). Some would argue that's already happening, what with all the Russian money flowing in the West (people in finance call London 'Londongrad' because there's so much Russian money) into things like the NRA and donations to red or blue politicians in elections. The Russians literally wrote down their playbook in 'Foundations of Geopolitics' and they've been following the recipe to a T with great success. No need for any massive invasions or unconventional weapons, just keep sending weapons and special forces training from Russia to Ya'll Qaeda and BBQ Haram and America will be a hollow shell of it's former self.

All they need is donkeys and wounded people to take on the West. Hell, in Iraq there were multi-million$ US tanks being blown to pieces by $30 IED's. Both US and Russia were beat in Afghanistan against goats and tunnels. Not trying to say that Russia is doing fine (they're not) but their technology or lack-thereof is less a sign of weakness and more of a flex. It's almost as if Russia is saving the good stuff for somewhere else, like a geopolitical rival they've had for over 100 years, who are currently destabilized and divided done by the help of Russian disinformation tactics and their own assets in that rivals government, you know...

I've always wondered why so many people peacefully marched into the trains, trucks, and death camps, then I see the sheer amount of people like you who say that and remember why. Maybe it's a personality thing, some of us who are faced with annihalation vs annihalation with a fight, we choose the latter. Most people will just take annihalation peacefully out of fear or laziness.

Me too, and in my 17 years of living there many people were trying to tell them what was happening, but their "American Exceptionalism" and "I don't care about politics" or "I'd rather just work on myself" mentality they used to ignore the writing on the walls makes me feel for them a lot less. If anything it makes me more afraid for them than ever now that it's gotten this bad and there's still nothing close to the 1960's in terms of leftist movements. It's just hard to organize in a country that's willing to drop bombs on Philadelphia in 1985 when people start organizing.

But then I remember how okay Americans are with all this, and that in reality all along they've been a fascist country that has wanted and practiced fascist ideals for a long long time now. I remember what Americans do to people that try to help - not just kill them, but worst of all ignore them afterwards. A big part of me thinks America needs to go through an unspeakable horror of their own making, otherwise they can never wake up. And you can bet that Russia and China will rush in to give weapons to both sides of the next American conflict (one could argue they already are.)

Ok here's some constructive criticism: The 2nd Amendment was made for times like these, what would your grandfathers do if they were your age and the Nazis have successfully invaded Americas highest office? Inaction is action. There's plenty of historical info proving that a complacent centrist majority is required to allow a fascist minority to take power. Your "government" has proven time and time again they serve against your interests, for over half a century, when will it get through to you Americans? You can dig and discuss and follow the data all you want and every time it will lead to billionaires, and every time the conversation stops there for some reason. Perhaps Kamala losing because a population of people voted against genocide is a time for self reflection and reevaluation, not doubling down on the very people who got us here in the first place, I personally still hold a grudge since Obama's approach to the 2008 financial crisis that led us to where we are today. Perhaps we need to stop doing human sacrifices so that miracles can be performed by our God "The Markets," didn't we have a whole Enlightenment Era to get over this very thing? (Looks up the history of America and the late 1700s) And perhaps maybe, just maybe, occupying a sidewalk and leaving politely when ordered to doesn't really make the oligarchs afraid or take us seriously. Perhaps the best approach would be to gather en masse, guns out in the open, outside the gated communities of millionaires and billionaires. It's gonna have to happen sooner or later, but later requires many more to suffer. You can say whatever you want but the world is collectively watching what you (Americans) are doing (or aren't doing).

So glad i'm not a rich person who's betting their families lives on the success of the markets. Lots of finance bros living in populated cities gonna find out the hard way that food doesn't grow from money.

Yeah but we need to stop occupying sidewalks and start occupying gated communities. The fact that protest organizers won't do this says everything you need to know about them - they prefer passive action that does nothing but maintain the status quo. I've been to over 100 protests everything from workers strikes to BLM to Occupy Wall St, and i've learned that occupying a sidewalk that the oligarchs don't walk on does nothing but make the cause look pathetic. We need to protest where the oligarchs will be afraid, anything less is just playing into their hands.
