  • This is a job for nachos

  • Pretty sure we have that kitchen wallpaper when I was a kid..

  • Yay! Enjoy the soup time.

  • That sounds like a wise choice. A year out could give you good perspective. When do you have to decide? It could be good to set out a job position before giving notice of leave so you don't cause yourself extra stress and you know what you are going into.

  • A lil hug, a strong coffee, and a lil sweet treat please. It's gonna be a long day.

  • I read he recently assigned (annointed/annnounced) a bunch of new Cardinals - mostly from emerging nations across Africa and Oceania. Also ensuring that 80%+ of the conclave will be cardinals that he approves of. That bodes well at least. Though having grown up around the church I don't hold a lot of hope in those guys.

  • Oh wow. I saw a shot of his Easter blessing and thought he looked shit. Poor old fella. I think he was one of the (few) good ones.

  • I have a widescreen monitor on my computer that doubles as a TV. I have a tiny living room x office and it works well.

  • Just a note. It's ok if you are on your own today. Eat the eggs and enjoy.

  • Although...swings and roundabouts..there was also the casual racism overhead at the CWA shop 🤦🏻‍♀️. I don't regret moving to the city but I have realised recently do need to get out from under it regularly. Mainly for the wildlife and nightsky.

  • One thing I love about country's towns is how people still dress up for lunch. Young lasses in their new dresses, mum and dad all ironed, trailed by awkward boys in their collard shirt and best shorts. It's nice

    Sorry. Dropped one

  • Passed a couple of accidents heading out east 😞 mostly bingles though at least

  • It's so hard to know, right? For me, if it "feels" like it could be a happy space when I am in it - that counts for a lot. And light - sounds like you have that. And air flow (though my current place has windows only on one side and I cope). Deciduous trees sound nice. Is there a dishwasher or a double sink? That's handy. Is it clean and look in good repair? Can you secure the doors/windows well? I have found you can live with things if it's basically ok.

You could ask for a second viewing too. Just to confirm it's gonna be ok. Good luck.

  • Ah, my bad. I checked a few days after the election was called (and I thought it was weird too). I see now that a few more of the usual suspects have popped up names on the ticket.

  • Just got a "how and why to vote liberal" flyer in the mailbox. There are two candidates in my seat - a Labor and a Green. Good work on the analytics there fellas.

  • The price hasn't come through yet (tapped on with phone figuring it would be cheaper then taxi). And 45mins to get across to the north suburbs is pretty good.
