How easy or hard is it to hire a Hitman? I have seen movies basically where its just walking into a bar and asking. I also read news reports of so and so asking for a hitman. Can someone enlighten me?

  • The scale is very misleading. 0-200m is the same as 200-1000 and 1000-2000m is like 1/8 of 0-1000m.

    Doesn't really capture the insane depths of the Mariana Trench. This website visualizes it better. Albeit without the Saddam lying at the bottom.

  • Idk if admins need to manually approve registration applications for Mbin. Many smaller Lemmy instances are set up that way, so it may also be the case for Mbin.

    Regardless, whether the registration is reviewed manually or automatically, the admin is the one who will be able to help you.

  • Yeah the more I look into it, I see that it takes direct inspiration from Total Annihilation and SupCom. I messaged my friends who used to play Forged Alliance with me and at least a couple of them have already played this game.

    I've been waiting for over a decade for a new game in this mold. It's not just an RTS, it's a very specific kind of strategic RTS that has a much greater scale than a tactical RTS like Starcraft. I like that it's more focused on macro than micro.

    And the fact you can do 16 player matches is just epic. Supreme Commander was originally limited to 4v4 and then they eventually modded in the ability to play 6v6, but it would frequently cause the framerate to drop to slideshow levels. Can't wait to try this game out!

  • PieFed is pretty seamless when it comes to federation in my experience. And it's also adding new features at a rapid pace, including some that Lemmy doesn't even have yet. I think you made a good choice.

    Btw, nice community name :) Having a clever name is surprisingly helpful when it comes to growing communities.
