  • I haven't been able to use Lemvotes for a couple weeks. Every link I put in just comes up as not found now.

  • There wasn't any danger of me coming to spend my money in that third world shithole anyway.

  • Grandma? Pls send money.

  • They turned back my order for 36% permethrin for parasite control. So now I get to pay the equivalent of 30X as much for 0.5% permethrin because it's apparently not a problem to sell permethrin, but you have to make sure you pay a stupid amount to entrenched suppliers that got in before the restrictions.

    What bullshit.

  • Mine is the older style with the ends closed so you have to fold it and stuff it in, can't let an end stick out. But it's fine, and after a day of hiking, it's beautiful to have something with a back to sit in when you're making supper or sitting around the fire.

  • I don't get how the relationship in the jaw geometry relates in any way to daVinci's text. I guess the ratio of the jaw is almost the same than the drawing, but not quite? Smells like bullshit.

  • You have to pay for that knowledge. Did you buy your million-dollar inaugeration ticket? If not, you aren't on the email list.

  • A lb on your feet is the same as 5 lbs on your back. And bring light shoes for when you've set up camp.

And the chair kit for your thermorest is the best investment you will ever make.

  • The second Powell is ousted or quits, pull the trigger on shorts.

  • And tomorrow he'll say the opposite. He's almost as wishy-washy as Trump.

  • 6 months later? They've been working on the die-off issues for the last decade, if not longer.

  • Twitter threading does not make any sense to me.

  • I read this as more "not having to experience the daily news for a month and being horrified".

  • 20F isn't much of a fluctuation anyway.

  • Go look at what the US dairy industry looks like. it's a wasteland of bankrupt farmers that have sold their souls to stay afloat, just so people can get milk a buck a gallon cheaper.

I'll take the supply management to ensure food safety and security.

  • Don't expose anything outside of the tailnet and 99% of the potential problems are gone. Noobs should not expose services across a firewall. Period.

  • You do need a bit of horsepower to run Whisper locally. A Nabu Casa subscription gets you their voice processing, and it's quick. Granted, it's not local but I trust them a pile more than I trust either of the other two, and if I had to I'd buy a GPU and run it locally, that's their focus anyway.

  • Removing dependency on using cloud voice like Google or Amazon is awesome. I wouldn't use voice if that's how I had to do it, and I really like voice control for my HA ecosystem.
