  • Thanks for this! I've updated the post body.

  • Agreed. Exynos is also a pretty cool name. They just need it to be more competitive in terms of performance or overall device cost.

  • Is anyone else finding the voice recognition not very impressive?

  • I can't say I agree. I'm skeptical about these LLMs accomplishing the things many people think they will, but I think the last technology to transform my life like this was having access to Wikipedia from a smartphone. GPT-4 has proven incredible useful for guiding me through areas I know nothing about, like house buying. I always fact-check it with my own manual searches later, but it has held up remarkably well.

  • Samsung devices seem to only really be worth it at launch with the aggressive promotional pricing.

  • Have you looked into possible causes for your fatigue, exhaustion, and insomnia? It could be worth some investigation (e.g., blood work, sleep study, ADHD assessment).

  • They have access to the IP and own the compute resources running OpenAI's services.

  • No ads for me personally, but I'm running ublock. Could you share a screenshot?

  • I posted up some more detail from a purported insider on !chatgpt@lemdro.id. It seems like Ilya Sutskever and others on the engineering side who led the efforts to get him out.

  • Interesting. I find it much snappier than Google Maps because it can do higher framerates.

  • It becomes very vibrant when you're in navigation mode. Similar to before but more saturated.

  • Agreed! I think it strikes a good balance, whereas highways were a bit overemphasized before.

  • Wow. What a legacy. The idea of medical debt for necessary treatment is so wild to me though.

  • I really like it, but it'd be nice if they offered customization options for folks who feel differently.

https://osmand.net is also an open source option.

  • When using the general view? Typically landmarks and buildings so I appreciate this change. Roads are most important when using navigation, which they made much more vibrant. I'm finding these to be welcome changes.

  • It seems to stay properly for me. My gripe is that it doesn't have an option for automatically changing based on the time of day without the OS also being set to do so.

  • I think the idea is just to not have to use a separate app to message LLMs.

  • I noticed this. It's much improved!
