Technology transfers have also been a large part of China's strategy, which results in large firms voluntarily transferring IP in exchange for large contracts. It's unfortunate that in many other places, we're still doing lowest bidder private contracting plagued by cost overruns.

I've actually been enjoying OsmAnd / OsmAnd+, which was recently recommended by someone here. It's open source and runs more fluidly than Google Maps (which is locked to 60 hz). With that said, it doesn't have live traffic built-in (and while you can add Google live traffic overlays, it doesn't seem to get used for routing).

I'm no drone operator but enjoy viewing drone landscape footage. It'll be interesting to see whether we'll see a lot more drone-focused full-frame sensors hitting the market.

Where are you located? I personally assumed it just hadn't yet launched here in Canada.

Those new animations seem pretty oriented toward video ads.

A bit of a semantics thing but it's not discrimination because they're subjecting all organ transplant candidates to the same requirements. Discrimination has a specific meaning in a Canadian legal context.
